Abstract

This work studied the solar radiation pressure effects on the motion of a spheriodal artificial satellite. The incident and reflected radiation forces were taken into account. A semi-analytical technique was presented. Numerical solution was carried out to obtain the perturbation effects due to direct solar radiation pressure on LAGOES 1. The results were compared with the observations and previous works.
